Amazing amazing amazing... I can't say anything else about this place but A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!
I have to give BIG thanks to Alex for helping me out with the trip and giving me amazing advice! I really truly believe I would not have come to Swakopmund if it wasn't for him!

Today I had a little rough start after a bottle of wine too many last night.

I was supposed to go skydiving but weather conditions combined with the way I was feeling made that pretty impossible so decided to go walk around swakopmund.

Once I reached the lighthouse I met up with Pally and went to the open market to get an elephant and some souvenirs to send the boys.

The experience was quite overwhelming to be honest.. You have 25 guys trying to sell you exactly the same thing! They come and get you to their shop and try to convince you to get it from them, they give you a price and ask you how much you would pay for it... How am I going to know how much I am supposed to pay for a wooden elephant?!?!? And then they ask how much the other guy said... Ahhhh I didn't know what to do... How do I pick which guy to buy it from?!? What if I go with one and the other feels bad? It was too much pressure!

At the end I decided to split and conquer! Jajajaja
One guy went the extra mile and got a full box of stuff and showed it to me and decided to get it from him. But then the other guy who was very nice approached me and said that he would really appreciate if I bought something from him and if I could buy one from him and two from the other guy since I needed three! I thought it was very nice of him to ask me that way so I decided to split it. The other guy seemed a little annoyed but in my heart I felt like I did the right thing.

By then I was running late to get to my hostel and leave for Windhoek! But before I had to stop for a picture with Danniel at his shop! I wanted to get the elephant from him but the ones he had were a little too big to be carrying for the next 4 weeks!!! But it was really cute when I asked for the price he grabbed his head and said "Ah! It's too hard to give a price to a friend" Jajajaja we had gone clubbing together on Friday! Super cute!
Then we took a picture together and he gave me a sculpture and said "We are holding our Grammy... Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie!" Jajajajajaja

Now I'm back in Windhoek and taking a 3-day sossuvlei camping trip... Really wish me luck on that one!!!! :-)
